The NSW Rural Press Club is hosting a Sydney Agribuzz at Colliers.
Guest speaker Michael Barbara, Executive Director of Campbell Group who will share key ‘sliding door’ moments from his career as part of an evening of professional networking and development opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.
Agribuzz is a smart casual event providing professional networking and development opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.
It provides the opportunity for our members and friends to exchange business intelligence and ideas over drinks and canapés, enjoy a brief presentation, and mingle with their peers. Those establishing their careers can talk to agribusiness leaders over a drink while those on the look-out for talent can meet aspiring leaders-in-the-making.
Campbell Global is a wholly owned subsidiary of J.P. Morgan. Michael leads its global timberland investment activities, oversees approximately US$4 billion of client assets under management in Australasia, and contributes to the firm’s broader strategic direction.
Prior to this, he was a founding employee of New Forests, where he spent two decades leading investment origination and execution initiatives across a broad range of forestry and natural capital strategies.
Michael has built his career in forestry and nature-based asset investment management, with experience across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Africa. His focus has been on generating attractive risk-adjusted returns through the sustainable management of timber, land, carbon and other nature-based assets.
