Agribuzz - hosted by Colliers Agribusiness
Thursday, 4 September 2025
5:30pm to 7:30pm
Agribuzz is a smart casual event providing professional networking and development opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.
It provides the opportunity for our members and friends to exchange business intelligence and ideas over drinks and canapés, enjoy a brief presentation, and mingle with their peers. Those establishing their careers can talk to agribusiness leaders over a drink while those on the look-out for talent can meet aspiring leaders-in-the-making.
Our guest speaker will be Daniel Hough, the Managing Director of Gunn Agri Partners, who will share some of his perspectives from a diverse career working in Australia and abroad.
Daniel brings over two decades of experience in agriculture and real asset investment, underpinned by a personal connection to farming. Raised on a cattle property in New South Wales, where his father farmed into his late seventies, Daniel's professional journey reflects both a technical and hands-on understanding of agriculture.
Daniel’s career spans multiple continents and senior roles, including Associate Director at Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management in Europe and Head of Agriculture at an African-focused agribusiness investment platform. Throughout his career, Daniel has been investor-facing, leading capital raising across farmland strategies in Africa, Brazil, and Australia.
A qualified accountant with a longstanding background in financial services, Daniel currently serves as Portfolio Manager for all permanent crop and water investments at Gunn Agri Partners. His portfolio includes high-value nut, stone fruit, and avocado operations across Australia’s eastern seaboard. In addition to investment oversight, he also leads the firm’s Investor Relations function, liaising with institutional clients from Europe, North America and Australia
Registrations close on Monday 1 September. Please note any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
