Agribuzz turns 15 this year, and we’re celebrating with our host FTI Consulting and guest speakers Khan Horne and Meredith Paynter.
Agribuzz is a smart casual event providing professional networking and development opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.
It provides the opportunity for our members and friends to exchange business intelligence and ideas over drinks and canapés, enjoy a brief presentation, and mingle with their peers. Those establishing their careers can talk to agribusiness leaders over a drink while those on the look-out for talent can meet aspiring leaders-in-the-making.

Meredith and Khan will talk about the insights and 'sliding door' moments which have occurred throughout their career journey.

Khan Horne has been with NAB for more than 30 years, joining as a graduate in Gunnedah in 1992.
Born and raised in Grafton, he’s passionate about regional Australia and the role agriculture plays in the economy. Khan remains heavily involved in the family farm — a commercial Angus herd located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
Khan is deeply committed to NAB’s regional and agribusiness customer base, one of the largest and most diverse in Australia, and to ensuring his 650 staff across 120 locations nationally are the best in the business.
Meredith Paynter is the leader of KWM’s Food and Agribusiness sector practice, established more than 10 years ago.
She brings over 25 years’ experience to the role, assisting leading Australian and international clients across a range of sectors with complex and significant M&A transactions. Meredith’s practice is built on longstanding “trusted advisor” relationships with a range of clients and she is valued by clients for her “technical prowess, coupled with her commercial and solution-oriented approach”.
Meredith has been the lead author of KWM's Directions Report - a corporate governance report on current issues and challenges facing Australian directors and boards – for more than 10 years.
