We're heading back to Gunnedah for another fabulous Agribuzz event at the AgQuip Field Days. Our hosts are Manildra Group, with guest speaker Mark Allison, CEO of Elders.
Agribuzz is a 'smart casual' event providing professional networking and development opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.
This event is a great opportunity to catch up socially with people attending the AgQuip field days, including those who don't always have an opportunity to attend Agribuzz.
Manildra Group is a valued corporate member of Farm Writers and has hosted several successful events at AgQuip.
Mark Allison is from far north Queensland, and a passionate advocate of agriculture, and regional and rural Australia.
His 40+ year agribusiness career spans technical, manufacturing, supply and distribution roles and businesses. He's led many well-known companies, including GrainGrowers, Wesfarmers and Incitec, and been on the board of many others, including AuctionsPlus, CropLife and the APVMA.
Mark is currently Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Elders and Chair of the Agriculture and Natural Resources End-User Advisory Board of the SmartSat CRC, among others.
His implementation of four Eight Point Plans at Elders from 2014 grew the company from a market capitalisation of $50 million to a peak of $2.2 billion, and resulted in the first shareholder distribution in nearly a decade in 2017.
Agribuzz provides the opportunity for our members and friends to exchange business intelligence and ideas over drinks and canapés, enjoy a brief presentation, and mingle with their peers. Those establishing their careers can talk to agribusiness leaders over a drink while those on the look-out for talent can meet aspiring leaders-in-the-making.
