Resilient supply chains – essential arteries for rural industries

Friday 24 March 2023

12:00 for 12:30pm

Building stronger and more resilient supply chains isn’t all about bricks and mortar – it also relies on the right people, skills and capabilities to keep our freight coming and going in a timely fashion.

International events have shown that building and improving supply chain resilience are essential to keeping food and fibre on our shelves, prices competitive and trade in goods and services seamless.

For the agriculture sector, natural disasters have impacted the ability of physical supply chain infrastructure to get inputs in and send goods out. Add COVID induced labour challenges, increased fuel costs and high inflation, and it's clear that more work is needed to build a truly sustainable supply chain to sustain rural and regional industries into the future.

This event brings together an expert panel to discuss how to build stronger supply chains and their recent experiences:

  • Heidi Bailey Powell - Pacific National
  • Garry Edwards - AAM Investment Group
  • Caroline Pisciuneri - Freshmark

Registrations will close on Sunday 19 March.
