Agribuzz hosted by King & Wood Mallesons

Thursday, 9 June 2022

5:30 - 7:30pm

Join us for another sparkling event to hear champion of investment in the natural assets sector, Elizabeth O’Leary, describe her career journey.

Elizabeth was raised on a mixed farm in the Riverina and is now Head of Macquarie Asset Management Agriculture & Natural Assets.

Agribuzz is an opportunity to mingle with current and emerging leaders of agribusiness, and share news and views over drinks and canapes.

It's a smart-casual event that facilitates professional networking and provides professional development opportunities in an intimate, relaxed atmosphere at prestigious locations.

This Agribuzz coincides with the Vivid Sydney light, music and ideas festival, providing an even more spectacular backdrop than usual and giving you a chance to enjoy a view of Thursday evening's light show on the harbour.

Elizabeth will share insights and lessons from years in senior corporate roles and  multiple countries - namely the UK and Hong Kong .

In her current role, which she has held since 2014, Elizabeth leads MAM's large-scale specialised funds and related investment vehicles. Under her management, the company has taken a leadership position in the development of methods of measuring, reducing and removing greenhouse gas emissions across its farming operations.

Elizabeth is a keen participant in the natural assets sector, including as a member of the Energy, Emissions and Efficiency Advisory Committee, and the CSIRO Agriculture and Food Advisory Group.
