Agribuzz is heading back to Orange, providing our city and regional guests the opportunity to network and be inspired.
Our host is the NSW Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development (DPIRD), a valued corporate member of Farm Writers which hosted Agribuzz in Orange back in 2023.
Our guest speaker is Tess Herbert of Gundamain Pastoral Co., current LLS Board Chair and CEO, and 2023 Farmer of the Year. She is a trailblazer in the agriculture industry, with a strong focus on diversification, innovation, and sustainability.
Agribuzz is a 'smart casual' event providing professional networking and development opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy locally sourced canapes accompanied by the region's wine and beer options. Please forward this email to friends and colleagues who may also be interested in attending.
Agribuzz provides the opportunity for our members and friends to exchange business intelligence and ideas over drinks and canapés, enjoy a brief presentation, and mingle with their peers. Those establishing their careers can talk to agribusiness leaders over a drink while those on the look-out for talent can meet aspiring leaders-in-the-making.
Gundamain Pastoral Co., a family-owned agribusiness in Eugowra, has been producing high-quality food and fibre for more than 150 years. Run by Tess, her husband Andrew, and their family, Gundamain is committed to best-practice animal health, welfare, and sustainable farming.
A former Central Tablelands LLS Board member, Tess holds a Masters in Agribusiness from the University of Melbourne (2020) and has extensive committee experience, including her current work as a non-executive director of Meat and Livestock Australia and the Grains Industry Sustainability Framework Governance Council independent chair.
With a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Australian red meat industry, agriculture policy, research, development and marketing, Tess is also a member of the Australian Lot Feeders Association, Cattle Australia, NSW Farmers Association, Grain Growers, as well as a graduate and member of Australian Institute of Company Directors and a graduate and fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.
